Inkjet printing paper with higher quality

The rapid development of inkjet paper printer technology achieves photo quality recording and significantly improves the printing speed. With this development, the required properties of inkjet paper are changing. We are developing R & D to disseminate high-quality products and technologies around the world.

To compare with silver halide photography, inkjet technology requires specially designed inkjet paper. Inkjet paper optimizes ink absorbency, color rendering, water resistance, light resistance and running resistance of the printer to provide excellent output.

A light absorbing pigment is applied, and the absorbent pigment has a smaller particle size than a point size to provide better ink absorption and printing uniformity. The glossy inkjet paper is made from a process called the casting process. Here, the coating is pressed to the surface of the hot mirror when it is soaked. The moisture in the coating evaporates from the back and the mirror surface is reproduced on the surface of the paper. For example, this kind of inkjet paper is used for glossy postcards.

Printing professionals use proofing paper. The commercial printer is required to display the final product sample to the customer before actual printing. The output used for this purpose is called “proof””. Inkjet paper technology is widely used today. For this application, the appearance of the paper is very similar to the actual appearance of the printed inkjet paper. In addition, the printed colors must be very stable.

Today, inkjet paper is even used in art. Because the texture of the paper is part of the characteristics of art paper, it creates the aura that the designer seeks. In other words, we think that the texture of the paper is one of the important qualities.

In order to develop this high-performance inkjet paper, we use a variety of physical and chemical phenomena to achieve the desired quality. For example, the size of the cavity, the ink absorbency, the ion affinity and the layer structure are optimized to meet the desired properties (Figure: physical and chemical properties of inkjet paper).

Inkjet technology is still advancing today. High quality inkjet printing paper is the key to high quality output. We are developing higher quality inkjet paper, not only for new printers, but also for older printers.

What is inkjet photo paper?

The paper is compared with the digital inkjet photo paper. Before the digital camera, the photos are the use of photographic inkjet photo paper developed in the film after exposure, the load in the physical sheet to show the picture effect, and in the high-tech technology today, inkjet photo paper gradually introduced to the stage of history, in addition to some passport need inkjet photo paper, most of all to stay in the network and electronic photos the digital equipment.

In order to keep these precious historical images from disappearing, inkjet photo paper should be digitally preserved as soon as possible. Once broken to the point where it cannot be repaired, this loss is not something that money can buy.

Now let’s introduce two kinds of digital preservation of inkjet photo paper photos:
1. It is best to scan a inkjet photo paper picture with a scanner. Home has a computer and a scanner, you can put the old photos scanned into the computer, the important thing is to remember to put the scanner software in the resolution setting to 1200 resolution scan, too much is not necessary, the scanning picture format to.Jpg format image files, the minimum, the best quality.

2.You can use digital cameras to remake, but you must high-end camera, such as studio SLR camera, the most important thing is not to shoot deformation. And the clarity of the camera, no digital clutter. When shooting at a high resolution of about 1200 pixels, or more, to shoot macro (is nearly partner), find a good light, put the photos in your shadow without occlusion place (don’t hit remake, flash flash will make the pictures produced a remake of the halo).
